At Avatar Diamonds, every piece is crafted with care and independently certified. To keep our pricing transparent and fair for every customer, we follow a clear exchange and buy-back model rather than traditional returns. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
No Standard Returns or Cancellations
We do not accept standard returns or cancellations once an order has been dispatched. Please review your selection carefully before checkout. Our team is happy to help you choose the right piece — reach out on WhatsApp (+91 7777962762) or email before purchasing if you have any questions.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, we will repair or replace it free of charge. To qualify:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photographs or a video of the issue, including the delivery packaging if visible damage is involved
- The item must be unworn, in its original condition, with all tags, certificates, and packaging intact
Email info@avatardiamonds.com with your order number and evidence. We will arrange a free reverse pickup. Our team will inspect the item on return and issue a repair, replacement, or full refund at our discretion.
Exchange Credit — 80% on Diamonds
You can exchange any diamond jewellery purchased from Avatar Diamonds toward a new purchase at any time, under the following terms:
- 80% of the original diamond value is credited toward your new purchase
- Gold is credited at the prevailing market rate on the day of exchange
- Value Addition (making) charges from the original purchase are non-refundable
- The item must be in good condition, with original certificates and invoice
- Exchange credit must be used against a new Avatar Diamonds piece of equal or higher value
- Exchange credit is non-transferable and has no cash value
Buy-Back — 60% of Original Invoice
We offer a 60% buy-back on any Avatar Diamonds piece, available at any time:
- 60% of the original invoice amount is paid back to you
- Item must be in good condition, with original certificates and invoice
- Buy-back amount is paid via bank transfer within 7 working days of receipt and verification
- Buy-back is calculated on the original purchase price, not current market value
- Customised, engraved, or heavily damaged items are not eligible for buy-back
Customised and Personalised Items
Custom-designed, engraved, or specially ordered pieces are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in cases of manufacturing defect. We will share design approvals and previews before production so you can confirm every detail.
Failed or Refused Delivery
If a shipment is returned to us due to non-delivery, incorrect address, or refused delivery:
- We will contact you to arrange re-dispatch; re-shipment is billable at actual courier cost
- If you choose to cancel the order, we will refund the item cost less a 5% processing fee and any courier return charges
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay. Refund timelines typically are:
- UPI and wallets: 1–2 business days
- Credit and debit cards: 5–7 business days
- Net banking: 3–5 business days
Delays beyond these windows are usually at the bank or payment gateway end. If your refund is not reflected after 10 business days, contact us with your transaction reference.
How to Raise a Claim
- Email info@avatardiamonds.com with the subject “Claim – [Your Order Number]”
- Include your order number, clear photographs or a video of the issue, and the reason for the claim
- Our team will respond within 24 hours (Monday to Saturday)
- If approved, we will arrange a free reverse pickup and process your repair, replacement, exchange, or refund
